Adam Christopher Villanueva, 43, of La Sacatosa, NM, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2026 in Santa Fe New Mexico at Christus St. Vincent's Hospital.

Born July 24th, 1983, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Mabel Villanueva and James Gonzales. Adam was a beloved father, spouse, son, sibling, grandson and friend. Throughout his life Adam was a man of strong faith. His relationship with God and love for the Bible were an important part of who he was.

Adam struggled with his health for quite some time but he remained hardworking despite the challenges he faced he continued to work hard and do his best each day.

Adam had a beautiful smile and a laugh we will never forget, His smile could brighten a room, and his laughter will remain a cherished memory for all who knew and loved him.

Adam was preceded in death by his father James Anthony Gonzales, Grandfather Carlos Villanueva, Grandfather Leopoldo Gonzales, Grandmother Deluvina Gonzales, Great Grandmother Vivinita Chavez, Great Grandfather Tranquilino Chavez, Great Uncle Joe Chavez, Godfather Eracilo Vigil, Uncle Luis Gonzales, Uncle Leo Gonzales.

He is survived by Daughter LaRRae Villanueva, Spouse Lora Espinoza, Mother Mabel Villanueva, Grandmother Carmen Villanueva,Sister Jamie Gonzale-Niece Genesis Baca, Nephew Ares Baca), Sister Andrea Villanueva, Uncle Edward Villanueva, Aunt Maryhelen Villanueva, Godmother Rosemary Vigil and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Adam will be deeply missed but his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 10:00am both services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Villanueva, NM with Father Vincent Dominguez as celebrant. Interment will follow at Villanueva cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers Luis Gallegos, Victor Gallegos, Joaquin Dominguez, Thomas Romero, Jimmy Ray Chavez, Ruben F Gallegos and Honorary Pallbearer Ares Liam Baca.
