Adelina Santillanes was called home to the Lord on Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was born on January 5, 1942 to Juan Antonio Montoya and Zoraida Mascareñas Montoya in San Ignacio, NM.

She retired from Las Vegas Medical Center in 2002 as a Nurse Tech. She was an Oselaria de La Morada de Nuestro Padre Jesus de Nazareno.

She loved to crochet, making blankets and baking biscochitos, bread and tortillas. Her passion was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to sit on her recliner by the window reading and looking out at the wildlife with her beloved Pepito.

She is survived by her Daughters; Maureen Santillanes and Lynette Santillanes from Las Vegas, NM, her Sons; Joseph Santillanes and Angelo Santillanes (Loretta) from San Ignacio, NM, Grandchildren; Adrian Santillanes (Gaia), Destenie Lujan (Esequiel), JR Santillanes, Brianna Roybal (Sonya), Kaitlyn Trujillo (Tristan), Wyatt Lujan (Angel), Eliana Santillanes and Sienna Santillanes, and Great Granddaughters; Ariella and ZiaMarra Lucero and Presley Anne Trujillo.

Also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many cousins and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Antonio and Zoraida Montoya; Husband, Persiliano Santillanes, Brothers; Joe Montoya and Louis Montoya, Nephews; Andrew Montoya, Elvin Baca, and Martin Montoya.

Velorio will be prayed by La Morada de Nuestro Padre Jesus de Nazareno on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 6:00pm at the San Ignacio Church in San Ignacio, NM.

Rosary will be prayed by La Morada de Nuestro Padre Jesus de Nazareno on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 8:30am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, in Las Vegas, NM. A Mass of Christian burial will follow immediately after the Rosary, with the following serving as Urn Bearers; God Daughter Destenie Lujan and Granddaughters Eliana and Sienna Santillanes. Honorary Bearers: All her Grandchildren.
