Aladino A. Fresquez was born on March 10, 1939 to the late Valentin Fresquez and Violita Muniz.

Surrounded by family and loved ones, Alan passed away July 24, 2024 at the age of 85. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Alan graduated from West Las Vegas in 1959 with 12 years perfect attendance. He attended barber college in Denver, Colorado and returned to Las Vegas to give free haircuts to the residents at NMBHI and Vida Encantada. Alan retired from the NM Department of Transportation in 1989 after 30 years. He was a jack of all trades and always had a work project going. A devoted Parishioner to both churches in our community, he enjoyed building, fishing, camping, and spending time with his great-grandchildren. Alan was outgoing, cheerful, and always helped those in need. He was an avid sponsor for Save The Children, especially Jose in Salvador, Brazil. He is loved and will be missed by many.

Alan is preceded in death by his father Valentin Fresquez; mother Violita Muniz; wife Francesca Fresquez; and in-laws Rogelio and Eulalia Valencia.

He is survived by his daughters Janet Madrid, Darlene (Margarito) Encinias, and Sharen (Angelo) Maldonado; grandchildren Pearl (Jose) Solano, Kaylene (Sean) Armijo, David Alan Encinias, and Dominique (Devin) Adkins; great-grandchildren Orion Solano, Josiah Armijo, Hailie Campos, Azariah Armijo, Zenadiah Armijo, Embrie Jaymes Adkins, and Adalie Adkins; Siblings Gilbert (Dora) Fresquez, Joe Martinez, Florencio Muniz, Louie (Sylvia) Pando, Proxie Roybal, Rose (Jack) Serna, Dolene Pando, Compadres John and Sylvia Maldonado and many other loved ones. .

Rosary will be recited on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers; Margarito Encinias, Angelo Maldonado, Jose Solano, Sean Armijo, Devin Adkins, Aric Rodriguez.
