Andrea Marie Ortiz, age 37 a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015.
She was born on September 3, 1978 to Juan Climaco Ortiz, Jr., and Mary Ann Ramirez Ortiz in Las Vegas, NM.
She was a 4H leader and very active with her kid's participation in everything they did. A Catholic she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Juan and Mela Ortiz; maternal grandfather: Salomon Ramirez, Sr., uncle: Salomon Ramirez, Jr., brother-in-law: Andrew S. Montoya.
She is survived by her husband: Jesse Edward Montoya; son: Michael Ortiz; daughter: Mychaela Ortiz; her dog: Sissy; parents: Juan and MaryAnn Ortiz; maternal grandmother: Angie Ramirez; sister: Samantha Ortiz and companion Aaron; aunts and uncles: Anita Ortiz; Gene Rose Trujillo and husband Adelaido; Betty Armijo and husband Paul; Gilbert Ramirez and wife Katie; Sam Ramirez and wife Brenda; Rosalie Ramirez; mother and father-in-law: Edward and Della Montoya; sister-in-law: Megan Montoya; nephew: Dominic Montoya.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 9:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico with Father Douglas Mitchell as Celebrant. Burial of cremains will take at The Ortiz family cemetery at Maestas Canyon in Rociada.
