Born and raised with strong values of faith, family, and hard work, she dedicated much of her life to feeding others—not just with food, but with comfort and care. As a cook at the West Las Vegas Schools and Northeastern Regional Hospital, she became known for her generous portions, warm kitchen, and the unmistakable aroma of meals made from scratch. Whether it was a pot of beans simmering on the stove, fresh tortillas, or her famous red chile, no one ever left her table hungry. Cooking was never just a job to her—it was her love language. Through every recipe, she shared stories, laughter, and wisdom. Her kitchen was the heart of the family.
After retiring, she devoted her time to her family and her faith. Her strength, resilience, and gentle humor shaped generations.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing her legacy lives on in every family gathering, every shared meal, and every recipe passed down. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
