Angie I. Gallegos, age 63, a longtime resident of Ribera, NM formerly of Montezuma, NM passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at her home.

She was born on July 2, 1957 to Arturo Gallegos and Dora Varela Gallegos in Las Vegas, NM.

A Catholic and a member of San Miguel del Vado Church in San Miguel, NM. Angie was formerly employed at the New Mexico State Hospital as a nurse. She enjoyed Crocheting, Arts and Crafts, and taking care of people. Angie also enjoyed being in the outdoors fishing and camping.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother: Ebert Gallegos, son: Marcos Carrillo, grandson: Cruz Gallegos, son: Christopher Apodaca and granddaughter: Angel Gallegos.

She is survived by her companion: Patrick Apodaca of the family home in Ribera, NM; former husband and friend: Richard Carrillo of Ribera, NM; daughter: Antoinette Gallegos (Jojo)of Mora, NM; son: Richard Carrillo of Las Vegas, NM; daughters: Tanya Rivera (Joe Louis) of Ribera, NM; and Andrea Apodaca (Jason) of Pecos, NM; son: Jeramiah Apodaca of Ribera, NM; grandchildren: Amor, Marina, Vivanna, Michael John, Arianna, Natalie, Soloman, Scarlett, Joe Louis Jr., Samarah, Kaylie, and Janessa, great-grandchildren: Aricella, Adellio and Vivanna, brothers and sisters:: Leroy Gallegos (Lucy) of Albuquerque, NM; Lorraine Lucero (Leonard), Marvin Gallegos (Linda), Annette Gallegos (Darren), and Martin Gallegos (Tanya) all of Las Vegas, NM; aunts: Virginia Varela of Kansas; Pauline Garcia of Las Vegas, NM; Maria Gonzales (Antonio) of Los Vigiles, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rosary service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 7:00PM at San Miguel Del Vado Catholic Church in San Miguel, NM. Mask must be worn.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 10:00AM at San Miguel Del Vado Catholic Church in San Miguel, NM with Father Moses Nwankwo as celebrant. Masks must be worn.

Interment will follow at San Miguel Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers Patrick Apodaca, Richard Carrillo, Leroy Gallegos, Marvin Gallegos, Joe Louis Rivera and Joe Louis Rivera Jr.
