Anna Maria Romero, age 58 a resident of Mora, NM passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, NM.
She was born in Amarillo, TX on April 29, 1956 to James Dolphin Pangelinan and Marie Dolores Heredia.
She was United in Marriage on September 23, 1995 to Patrick M. Romero at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM.
She was a member of Messiah's Disciples Motorcycle Club and 7th Day Adventist Church. She was a 1975 graduate of Caprock High School in Amarillo, TX.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Mary Ramirez and sister: Lisa Ramirez.
She is survived by her husband: Patrick M. Romero of El Alto, NM; daughter: Clara Adkins and special friend Pete Armijo of Albuquerque, NM; son: Kenneth Matteson and special friend Britney White of Amarillo, TX; brothers and sisters: Ray Heredia of Amarillo, TX; Mike Heredia and wife Sandra of Shafter, CA; Victoria Boyette and husband Mark, Carlos Ramirez, Gloria Satello and husband Izmo, Chris Ramirez and wife Robin of Amarillo, TX; Salvador Ramirez and wife Chila of Los Angelas, CA; Lola Griego and husband David, Freddie Ramirez and Ricky Ramirez all of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Jordan Sandoval, Alex and Samantha Carter all of Albuquerque, NM ; Kory Matteson of Amarillo, TX.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 3:00pm at Rogers Chapel in Las Vegas, NM. Interment will follow at Romero Family Plot in El Alto, NM with the following serving as Casket Bearers: Kenneth Matteson, Kory Matteson, Jordan Sandoval, Johnny Ramirez, Joel Ramirez, Jason Boyette, Chaz Sotello and J.R., Knight. Serving as Honorary Bearers will be Enrique Ramirez and Ray Heredia.
