Annabelle (Queen Ann) Aragon was born March 20, 1939 to Mary Ortega; passed away on July 17, 2024 at the age of 85 in the family home surrounded by her daughter, granddaughters, son-in-law, William and Sister, Dolores.

Annabelle worked at the City of Las Vegas Police Department for over 25 years. Annabelle enjoyed her retirement caring for her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them as they grew into adulthood. Along with her love for her family and friends her enjoyment was going to the Casino with her family and friends and enjoying life to the fullest. Annabelle spent the last four months of her life with those she loved and in the Casinos, food establishments and meeting people and creating lifelong friends and memories with friends from her past and most recent until her passing. Annabelle always left a lasting impression as she was known for her humor and ability to make friends along her journeys.

Annabelle was preceded in death by her mother Mary Ortega, sisters Gloria and Yvonne, brother Leroy, husband Gilbert Aragon, grandson Benjamin Aragon, in laws Phillip Hayden, Mel Aragon, Dorothy and David Maestas, Tina and Johnny Singletary, Bernice and Phil Garcia, Pita and Joe Almanzar, and Bernie Aragon.

Annabelle is survived by her daughter Valerie (William) Sandoval and son Gilbert (Victoria) Aragon, sister Dolores Hayden, brother Adrian (Rita) Ortega, in laws Polly and Ruben Trujillo, Sally Aragon, Cathy Aragon, grandchildren Jamie and Sammantha Sandoval, Gabriella (Tyler) King, Celia Aragon, Aiden Aragon, Jayla Rhode and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rosary Services will be conducted at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Las Vegas, NM on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow immediately with Fr. Rob Yaksich as celebrant. Burial of cremains will be done at a later date with the following as Urn bearer; William Sandoval. Honorary Urn bearers; grandchildren.
