Anthony Barela, 57, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico was called home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. He was born on June 18, 1966 to Luis Barela and Matilde Roybal-Barela.

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents Luis and Matlide; brothers, Victor and Richard Barela; sisters, Connie Barela, Anna Vasquez, Pauline Witit and Liz Barela. He is survived by his brother Frank Barela of Las Vegas, New Mexico; sister, Rose P. Barela of Denver, Colorado, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, with interment following at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
