Antionette Therese Marquez, age 50, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2024, at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a courageous battle with a chronic illness.
She was born February 6th, 1974, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to Gloria Marquez and Roger Marquez.
She spent most of her life in Las Vegas, as a Catholic member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She had worked as a Caregiver for Home Health Services. She graduated from Robertson High School. Her favorite things to do were to spend time with her friends, watch movies, listen to music, and to cook for her family.
She is preceded by death by her mother, Gloria Marquez; her two aunts Mary Gallegos, and Evelyn Jiron; her grandmother Saturnina Jiron.
Antionette is survived by her two sons, Nathan Marquez, and Jordan Gonzales; her daughter in law Destiny Pacheco; her father Roger Marquez; her dogs Rylie, and Oreo; her brothers Roger Marquez Jr., Mark Marquez, and Jacob Marquez; her sister Chelsea Kolker; and all her other beloved family and friends.
Rosary devotional services will be conducted at 6:00pm, Sunday, September 8th, 2024 Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am, Monday September 9th, 2024, both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Las Vegas, NM with Father Agustine Henderson as celebrant.
Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery, Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as pallbearers: Nathan Marquez, Jordan Gonzales, Destiny Pacheco, Roger Marquez, Diego Lucero, and Dylan Yee.
