Antonia Vigil, February 22, 1939 - April 4, 2023, age 84.

Our beloved sister passed to a better life on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in her family home in Villanueva, NM.  Antonia "Tonie" Vigil was born on February 22, 1939 in Villanueva, NM to Isidoro and Rosave Lucero.  A lifetime Catholic, Tonie was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish in Villanueva, NM.

Tonie was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, wife and mother.  She was preceded in death by her parents Isidoro and Rosave Lucero; brother Albert Garcia; brother Marcos Griego; husband H. Felix Vigil; and son Michael Lucero.  Tonie was united in marriage to H. Felix Vigil on December 29, 1961.

Tonie is survived by her brothers Servando Lucero of Villanueva, NM; Leroy Lucero (Sadie) of Villanueva, NM; Isidoro Lucero III of Granbury, TX; George Torres (Josie) of Albuquerque, NM; and Oliver Torres (Christina) of Las Vegas, NM.  Tonie is survived by sisters Josie Torrez (Delfinio) of Villanueva, NM; Martha McElroy (Danny) of Taos, NM; Margaret Montano (Jerry) of Santa Fe, NM; Annabelle Sena (Larry) of Santa Fe, NM; Carmen Bohannon (Erroll) of Las Vegas, NM; Agnes Lucero of Santa Fe, NM; and Emilia Bowen Lucero of Corrales, NM.  Tonie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

Rosary services will begin at 9:30am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Villanueva, NM.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am with Reverend Moses Nwankwo as celebrant.  Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Villanueva, NM with the following serving as casket bearers: Danny Torrez, Lawrence Griego, Diego Sena, Leland Sweitzer, Damian Bohannon, and Christopher Encinias.  Serving as honorary bearers are Michelle Griego, Brittney Maldonado and Matthew Torrez.
