Antonio Lopez was called to be in the arms of Our Dear Lord God and Savior on July 19, 2023.

He was born August 23, 1927 to Adolfo Lopez and Rita Gonzales in Leyba, NM.

Antonio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He loved all his family and taught them well. He was the foundation of his family of whom he deeply cared for. He also showed care and love to those who surrounded themselves by him. He impacted many hearts with his sense of humor and above all his Faith in God.

Antonio is preceded in death by his parents Adolfo Lopez and Rita Gonzales; wife, Josephine Lopez; son, George Lopez; daughter, Sharon Killian; granddaughter, Julie Rodriguez; brother, Hilario Lopez; sisters, Rosa Madrid, Aneda Madrid and Juanita Lovato; nephew, Angelo Madrid and niece, Demi Duran.

He is survived by his children, Albert Lopez of Leyba, NM, Patsy Lucero of Las Vegas, NM, Estevan Lopez (Della) of Las Vegas, NM, Orlando Lopez of Las Vegas, NM, Anthony Lopez of Houston, TX, Lucy Dominguez (Martin) of Albuquerque, NM, James Lopez (Linda) of Las Vegas, NM, and Esther Lopez (Edward) of Las Vegas, NM, 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Antonio will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is gone, but will never, ever be forgotten. His love, sense of humor and wisdom will live forever and ever. We Love You!

Rosary service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 9:00am.

Interment will follow at Santa Teresita Cemetery in Gonzales Ranch, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers; Scott Lopez, Ramon Lopez, Steve Lopez, Roger Benavides, Bobby Salazar and Orlando Encinias. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Ronald Benavides and Donovan Romero.
