Antonio "Tony" Solano Born on November 26, 1943, to Monico and Selenir Solano was lovingly welcomed into Heaven's gate on December 3rd, 2025. Surrounded by the love of his family throughout his life, Tony left this world the same way he lived in it, deeply cherished.
Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Fidelia Solano, the love of his life and his steadfast companion. Together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth and love.
He is also survived by his children, who were his pride and joy: Connie (Manuel) Dominguez, Rose (Ruben) Duran, and Antonio (Fran) Solano He leaves behind his treasured grandchildren: Jennifer Dominguez (Ray), Karla Gallegos, Angel Gallegos (Antonio), Francine (David) Gonzales, Marcos Solano His beloved great-grandchildren: Raylynn, DeJon, Jayde, Kenny, Adriel, David Jr., Enrique, Alina, Adelina, Amoura, Avianna, Aiden.
Tony left his devoted career at the railroad in 1979 closing a long chapter of hard work. After leaving the railroad, he dedicated his time and his heart entirely to his family. Whether he was fishing, hunting or attending every possible event for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, or simply sitting with his loved ones telling stories, Tony's greatest joy was being surrounded by the people he loved.
He had an exceptional gift for making friends wherever he went. With his warm smile, quick humor, and gentle soul, Tony made everyone feel seen and welcomed. He lived with kindness, humility and a generous spirit that touched countless lives.
To know Tony was to love him and to be loved by him was one of life's greatest blessings.
Services: Rosary Tue. Dec. 16th 2025 at 7:30pm. Funeral Wed. Dec 17th 2025 at 9:00am at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church Las Vegas, NM. Interment will follow at Tecolote Cemetery in Tecolote, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers: Marcos Solano, Manuel Dominguez, Ruben Duran, Ray Sanchez, David Gonzales, Antonio Vigil, Roy Pacheco, Mike Pacheco, Flor Pacheco, Vicente Pacheco, Eddie Pacheco, Phil Jr. Pacheco and Larry Sena.
