Arthur Don Rivera, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of 68. He was born on July 24,1958 in Moses Lake, Washington. He is preceded in death by his father, Ramon Arturo Rivera.

Mr. Rivera is survived by his mother, Maria Rivera; son, Ramon Rivera, and daughters Felicia Rivera, Gabrielle Rivera-Anderson (Matt), and Erica Rivera; grandchildren Penelope, Maxim, Tre and Eva Elyse. He is also survived by his sister, Dolores Romero (Larry), and his brother, Robert Rivera (Roslyn), as well numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends that will cherish his memory.

A former resident of Colorado, Mr. Rivera attended services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas.

Mr. Rivera’s favorite hobby was playing pool. He also enjoyed going to the ranch and playing his guitar. Mr. Rivera was a fan of Spanish music, listening to it quite often.

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 9:00 AM with a funeral mass following the rosary. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Las Vegas, NM. Burial of cremains will take place at Los Vigiles Cemetery in Los Vigiles, NM.
