Arnold J Trujillo, age 70, of Ledoux, NM passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on August 8, 2024

He was born on February 1, 1954 in Las Vegas, NM to Jose Trujillo and Lourdes Lujan.

Arnold held numerous positions with the State of New Mexico as a financial specialist, labor investigator, and was also the Regional Vice President of C.A.M.B.I.O Inc for small businesses in Gallup, NM. He was an active rancher and member of the Acequia Association in Mora, NM and had three licensed businesses.

He was also an active member of the Legion of Mary.  His hobbies included ranching, hunting, creating artwork, and horseback riding.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Phyllis E Trujillo, his daughter CrissyAnn Esquibel (Daniel) of Colorado Springs, son, Nathan Trujillo (Lynette) of Las Vegas, his grandchildren, BobbyJoe (Nicolette), Sapphire, Jade-Nicole, Christopher, Ellison, Joel, Jacob, and Ethan. He is survived by his brother, Harold Trujillo (Lucille) of Santa Fe. He is also survived by many other numerous family members. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose C Trujillo and mother, Lourdes L Trujillo, along with other relatives.

Rosary will be held Monday, August 19th at 7pm at St. Gertrude church in Mora, NM. Funeral mass will be held in Mora at St. Gertrude church on Tuesday, August 20th at 10am with Father Dale Craig S.O.L.T as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Trujillo Family Cemetery in Mora, NM with the following serving as pallbearers are Nathan Trujillo, BobbyJoe Esquibel, Christopher Esquibel, Eric Esquibel, Paul Esquibel, and Damian Chavez. Honorary pallbearers are Lawrence Gallegos, Daniel Esquibel, Ellison Trujillo, Joel Moreno, Jacob Garcia, and Ethan Davis.
