Arthur E. Espinosa, 86, of Bernalillo, NM passed away on February 27, 2024. Arthur was raised by his grandmother Rita Montoya in Canoncito, New Mexico.
Arthur is preceded in death by his Grandmother Rita Montoya, his parents Virgil and Maria Espinoza, brothers Bernardo and Arturo Espinoza, sister Mary Jane Lujan and brothers-in-laws, Bob Yeaman, Manuel Montano, and Eloy Lujan.
Arthur is survived by his siblings Aggie Yeaman of Spokane, Washington, Fred Espinosa of Canoncito de Manuelitas, Bertha Trujillo (Ignacio) of Las Vegas, Rita Montano of Las Vegas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arthur is a graduate of Robertson High School, attended NMHU for 2 years and moved to California and obtained his degree in Accounting and Business administration. At the age of 24, Arthur enlisting in the Army. He served in the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea. Upon fulfilling his military service, he moved back to California, where he dedicated himself to a career with Texaco as a Controller. Arthur was an avid traveler and loved to tour the world to explore different cultures and foods. Arthur's absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will be cherished always. May he rest in eternal peace.
Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be conducted on Thursday April 11, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
Urn bearers are Seferino Medina and Karl Mueller.
