Augustin Gomez age, 77 of Edgewood, New Mexico passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at his home.

He was a native of Anton Chico, New Mexico and a Vietnam Veteran who honorably served as United States Army Sergeant. He loved woodworking, cooking, on the grill and maintaining his properties in top shape. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Rudy Eugene Gomez; son: Ruben Gomez.

Augustin is survived by Bertha Gomez of Edgewood, NM; children: Linda Rivera (Jose) of Virginia and Robert Gomez of California; granddaughters: Rio Gomez, Roxy Gomez and Mila Rivera; brothers and sisters: Daniel Gomez of Albuquerque, NM, Gloria Claultice (Russ) of Florida, Julia Gomez of Sandia Park, NM, Fabiola Lucero of Bernalillo, NM, Josie Wright of Albuquerque, NM, Rosaline Carroll of Wichita, Kansas and Lorenzo Gomez (Debbie) of Anton Chico, NM; numerous: nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 1:30pm at Anton Chico Cemetery in Anton Chico, NM with Pastor James Vaughn as officiant.

Pallbearers will be Ben Dorrance, Jose Rivera, Linda Rivera, Lewis Smith, Miguel Avila and Ruben Lucero.
