Brian Dale Moore, 57, passed away suddenly at his home on December 6, 2022. He was born July 3, 1965, to Clarence Hern and Rhonda Moore in Merced, California. He was adopted by Dale and Dorothy Moore his grandparents who raised him.
Brian moved to New Mexico from California in 1997. His father drove to California to bring him to New Mexico. During his time here in Las Vegas, he worked for Franken Tire Center as a service tech and mechanic for several years . Brian also was co-owner of J&B Tire Shop which ran for about 6 years. Currently he was employed at Rogers Mortuary as a funeral home attendant for the last 2 years.
Brian was a loving and cheerful soul. Always willing to lend a hand to someone in need, or a shoulder to cry on. His passion in life was to help people and was never judgmental about their situation.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Fred and Josie Hern, maternal grandparents: Dale and Dorothy Moore. Brother: Danny Fetterley, Aunts: Carol Romero and husband Jimmy Romero, Mary Hern and cousin Gene Hern.
He is survived by his father: Clarence Hern; brothers and sisters: Travis Hern and Rebecca Martinez, Clarissa and Patrick Antrillo from Las Vegas, Kenneth and Anthony Roybal from Rio Rancho. Sheryl Moore Rosenburger, Sandy Vona, Connie Happs all from California. Uncles and aunts: Leroy Hern, Geraldine Gallegos, and Joe Hern. Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family. Special friends: Mark Rogers, Rosemary Rivera, Clint Sandoval and Peggy Sue Taylor.
Rosary and Mass services will be held Thursday December 15, 2022 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Rob Yaksich serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow immediately after at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as casket bearers: Patrick Antrillo Jr, Kenneth Hern, Ezra Roybal, LePaul Hern, Alan Griego, and Lawrence Candelaria. Honorary casket bearers will be his family/ coworkers of Rogers Mortuary and his niece Agnes Hern.
