Cecilia Castor, 66, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico went to be with her loving Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. She was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on September 27, 1960, to the late Frank and Trinidad Castor, and preceded in death by sister’s Minnie Rivera, Albinita Lopez and Neddie McOsker and her brother, Camilo Castor. Brother-in-laws, Lucio Rivera and Jerry Lopez. Nephews: Kenny McOsker and James Castor

She was a loving sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted Christian whose kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She was a caring and thoughtful person.

She lived a life in faith, prayed with sincerity, compassion, and service to others. Her trust in God guided every step.

Church was an important part of her life, and she found purpose in prayer, worship, and helping others in ways by offering encouragement, or simply being present for someone in need, she reflected Christ in everyday life.

She loved family gatherings, going for rides, Sunday worship, shared meals and the peace found in simple moments of prayer and reflection. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived.

She is survived by her son, Albert, her brothers and sisters, Fred Castor, Juan Castor, Jimmy Castor, Esmeralda Rivera and Precilla Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Marty McOsker. She has two special nieces; Cassandra Gonzales and Darlene Renna. She also has numerous nephews, nieces and many friends. She will be greatly missed. She was a very special sister and aunt.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:00am at the Las Vegas Christian Center in Las Vegas, NM. Interment will follow at the Church of Christ Cemetery off Pinon Street in Las Vegas, NM with the following as Pallbearers: Rick Rivera, Joseph Rivera, Santana Gonzales, Gerald Lopez, Robert Rivera and John Rivera Honorary Pallbearers: Alejandro Rivera, Geno Lopez, Phil Rivera, and all her nephews and nieces
