Celeste Ybarra age, 38, a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024

She was born on March 1, 1986 to Rudy and Carmen Ybarra in Las Vegas, NM.

Celeste was diagnosed with a very rare illness in October 2023. Her condition left her unresponsive and she began a long hard battle against this illness. The condition was forever changing, and our family was constantly learning and solely focused on how to help her and her family throughout this time. Throughout it all her loving companion Travis was by her side every minute of every day. She was continually surrounded by the love of her daughter, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and father.

Having a heart purer than gold, Celeste always gave and cared for others with an intensity felt by all who knew her. Celeste impacted so many throughout her life and enjoyed beautiful friendships with so many people. Loving to cook, Celeste always made sure to make your specific cake for your birthday and always gave the perfect gift to enlighten your special day.

Celeste enjoyed cheering for her and her dad Rudy's football team, the 49ers. She always cherished the moments she could spend with her dad and did her best to ensure he was always cared for. Celeste loved her siblings dearly and always wanted them to be together for all special occasions. Whatever the occasion, she loved planning what to eat and how to make the occasion enjoyable and memorable.

Her world was her daughter Alisia, she provided and protected her at all costs for she truly loved her "to the moon and back."

Heaven has wrapped its wings around our caring friend, sweet little sister, and beloved daughter. Although she has been carried home, she will never be forgotten, and her love will continue to fill our hearts until we are all reunited with her in the Kingdom of Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her mother Carmen Ybarra.

She is survived by her Father Rudy Ybarra, Daughter Alisia Ybarra-Rivera; Partner Travis Martinez; Sibling, Christopher Ybarra, Cynthia Crouch, KeynaGuara, and Kevin Ybarra. Also survived by Brother-In-Laws Larry Crouch, Manual Guara, Victor Carter, and Sister-In-Law Shonna Ybarra. Nieces Erica Gutierrez and Alba Guara and Nephews Bo Ybarra, Avry Ybarra, and Aden Guara.

Cremation has taken place and funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father Agustin Henderson as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Roy Cemetery in Roy, NM.
