Christian Sandoval, 86, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in Santa Fe, NM. He was born April 2, 1938, in Las Vegas, NM to the late Pedro and Virginia Sandoval.

Christian was an amazing father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved his New Mexico Music. Christian lived in Denver, Colorado and worked for Safeway warehouse as a forklift operator until he retired in 1993. He returned to his home village in Bernal, NM in the mid 90's.

Christian is preceded in death by his parents: Pedro and Virginia Sandoval; sisters: Cipriana Sandoval and Martha Martinez.

Christian is survived by his son, James Sandoval (Nicole); daughters, Bert Sandoval and Bev Sandoval (Alex); granddaughter, Daryan Sandoval (Bobby); brother, Pete Sandoval (Mary) and sister, Marcelina Trujillo; Several nieces and nephews including special niece, Judith Martinez and special great niece, Margaret Holguin.

A Rosary will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 9 am. Both will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Interment will follow at Santa Rita Cemetery in Bernal, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers; Norman Martinez, Michael Martinez, Kodiac-Shell McMurtry, Mark Trujillo, Alfredo Garcia and Alex Gedicks.
