Christina Uribe Garcia, 66 years old passed away suddenly on October 14, 2025 at her home in Bernal, NM. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Mayo and Maria Uribe. Christine was proud of her achievements as one should be and just as her family and friends were. She received her Bachelor's degree at Long Beach State University in California. Christina was currently employed with AVC Corporation and has been for 20 years as the Executive Assistant in Human Resources.

Her love language was baking, cooking and spending time with her family. Her husband teddy says everything she made was delicious and enjoyed by all. Her ceviche was asked for all the time, especially by him. Traveling was a favorite thing for her to do. She has traveled to Spain, Mexico, Wisconsin, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. She was an avid Denver Bronco fan and watched every game. She took her football seriously and cheered for her team, she was also a Dodger and Laker fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mayo and Maria Uribe and son Christopher Trujillo.

Christina is survived by her husband Ted Trujillo of 22 years, sons Christopher Garcia (Jessica), Tony Garcia, Dominic Trujillo (Katherine), Lawrence Trujillo (Leann). She was a proud grandmother of 11 and 2 great grandkids along with numerous nieces and nephews. Christina loved her siblings Aurora Mahren, George Uribe, Sylvia (Carlos) Mercado, Richard (Jose) Uribe, David (Vicky) Uribe and Danny Uribe.

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 9:00am funeral service will follow both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. Pallbearers will be Christopher Garcia, Tony Garcia, Dominic Trujillo, Lawrence Trujillo, Jason Trujillo, Danny Uribe, George Uribe and David Uribe. Reception will follow at Charlies Spic and Span located at 715 Douglas Ave Las Vegas, NM. Cremation will take place at a later date.
