Christopher E. Montoya was born December 13, 1961 to Aurelia and late Napoleon Montoya. Passed away July 13, 2024 at the age of 62.

A West Las Vegas graduate. Worked for the department of transportation for 25 years. He enjoyed being retire. Walked to church every morning. He loved going for rides on his Harley any chance he got. Always a smile on his face, could hold a conversation with anyone. He was always joking, and loved spending time with family.

Chris is preceded in death by his father Napoleon and sister Bernadette Montoya and his In-laws Paul and Ramona Moya.

He is survived by his wife Adela Montoya, mother Aurelia, brother Arthur/Judy Montoya, Brenda/Michael Romero, and Carla Montoya-Cano. In-laws Adrian/Tracy Moya, Denise/Christopher Chronis, Pauline Moya, Michelle Moya, Eileen/Ryan Romero. Nephews: Chris/Jennifer, Kurtis/Jessica, Steven Montoya, Sebastian/Carrie, Antonio/Makela Romero, Albert Duran, Isaiah Marquez, Dillon Jaramillo, Tyler Moya, Austin, Noah Hernandez. Nieces: Carolyn/Martin Dominguez, Latisha Cano, Monica Cano/Kevin Santiago, Chantel Apodaca, Samantha Caviler, Anastasia, Kalia Chronis, Kylie and Sophia Moya Great Nephews: Andres, Diego Montoya, Juan Antonio, Javier, Kayden Cano, Donovan Santiago, Matthew, Marcus Apodaca, Oliver, Ahmi, Lola Duran, JJ Moya, Delilah, Amy Moya, Camilla Santiago

Rosary services will be conducted at Our Lady of Sorrows Saturday July 27th at 9:00 and Funeral mass at 9:30 with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary with the following serving as Pallbearers: Pablo Montoya, Kayden Cano, Chris Montoya, Louie Benavidez, Lenard Romero, and Earnest Romero Honorary Pallbearers: His Nieces and Nephews.
