Cleo Peralta was called home on August 24,2025. She was born in Ocate, New Mexico to the late Loretto Branchal and Natividad Trujillo on September 7, 1928. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Abelino Peralta, eldest son Celestino Branchal, Granddaughter Irene Romero, Grandson, Manuel Rios, Great granddaughters Daniela Lopez, Annalise Romero and Hope Branchal. Also preceding her in death were all her siblings; Maximo Branchal, Reynaldo Branchal, Jacobo Branchal, Domingo Branchal, Susana Cordova and Aurora Velarde.
Cleo is survived by her children Jose Branchal, Fernando Branchal (Talpita), Loretta Branchal, Richard Peralta (Dolores), Soraida Rios (Salvador) Josie Peralta, Dolores Peralta (Kenny) numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and very special ex-son-in-law Mike Baca.
The family would like to thank La Vida Buena and Anvoi staff for the care they provided to Cleo. Incredibly special thanks to her heaven-sent angel Corrine Esquibel (Hospice Nurse) who she shared a special bond with. Ms. Cleo as everyone knew her, will be greatly missed.
A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Rogers Mortuary Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 9:00 AM at our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Ocate, New Mexico. Interment will follow at Los Manueles Cemetery in Ocate. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons Gabriel Branchal, Geronimo Branchal, Michael Romero, Wayne Peralta, Daniel Lopez, Joseph Peralta, Darrell Duran and great grandson Ryan Valdez. Honorary bearers will be all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
