Connie A Sanchez, age 73, passed away in her Las Vegas home on June 12, 2022, surrounded by her family. After her long five- and half-year battle, she is finally at peace and no longer suffering.

She is preceded in death by her father Fulgencio (Lencho) Ortiz, mother Emma Ortiz (Encinias), and daughter Janet Sanchez. She is survived by her brothers Andy Encinias and Maryann of Cleveland, NM, Joel Shipman and wife Florence of Edgewood, NM, son Gary Sanchez and fiancé Jamie Lovato of Las Vegas, NM, son Robert Ortiz and partner Diana Martinez of Albuquerque, NM, granddaughters Elicia Trujillo, Marissa and Anissa Sanchez, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Connie's family would like to extend their gratitude for everyone who helped care for and check on Connie through this transitional time in her life.

Rosary and mass services will be conducted on Thursday, June 23 ^rd , 2022 starting at 9:00AM at Nuestra Señora De Guadalupe in Villanueva, NM. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
