Corrine Hurtado, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She was born in Gonzales Ranch to the late Placido and Maria Rita Gonzales.

Corrine was devoted in her Catholic Faith. She was a dedicated member of the San Miguel Del Vado Catholic Church. She loved painting, sewing, and making gifts for her family and friends. She also loved hunting and fishing. She looked forward to her daily calls to and from her daughters and family.

Corrine is preceded in death by her parents Placido and Maria Rita Gonzales. Brothers: Henry and Benji Gonzales, Sister Tori Padilla. Father and Mother- in- law Locario and Florinda Hurtado. Sister- in-laws Mary Rose Garcia, Nick Hurtado,Julia Hurtado, and Sylvia Gonzales. Brother-in- laws Pete, Julio, Ernest Hurtado, and Rubel Romero. Grandchildren: Amelia Quintana, Michelle Griego and Alfred (Fred) Bazan Jr. Son-in-law, Nick Jaramillo.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Locario Hurtado Jr. Daughters: Lucia (Joe) Quintana, Angela (Conrad) Sandoval, Maria Hurtado (David), Laura (Bobby) Archuleta, and Rita (Lionel) Griego. Grandchildren: Lisa (James), Ashley (Jody), Elina (Crucificio), Jose (Tallulah), Santana, Jimmy, Jeren, Mercedes (Ambrose), Macario, Morgan (Anthony), Crecencio (Sierra), Julia, Adrianne (David), Jessica, Angela (Sage), Elizabeth (Sidney), Jennifer, Lionel, and Cecilia Corrine.

Great Grandchildren: Emily, Veronica, Rebeka, Lucia, Myra, Amayah, Mia, Andrez, Nick, Julian, Marie, Denise, Benito, Andres, and a great grandson on the way.

Brothers: Seferino (Margie), Fermin, Frank (Helen), Dennis (Christine).

Sisters: Camilla, Martha, Annabelle (Danny), Carol (Charles), Roseanne (David).

In-Laws: Ernest Padilla, Angie Gonzales, Teresa Hurtado, Paublita (Tony), Pina Lopez Carlos Garcia.

Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who she loved dearly.

As you can see Corrine was loved and had a large, beautiful family. She will be greatly missed by many.

Rosary service will be recited on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 9:30am both services will be held at San Miguel Del Vado Church in San Miguel, NM with Father Vincent Dominguez as celebrant.

Interment will follow at the Gonzales Ranch Cemetery in Gonzales Ranch, NM with the following serving as pallbearers: Joe, Conrad, David, Bobby, Lionel, Cresencio, Jose and Jimmy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrez, Macario, Nick and Lionel.
