With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of Cruzito Padilla, whose passing was unexpected 0n 5/10/2023 in Las Vegas, NM.
Cruzito preceded in death by his Sister Marina Martinez, and little brother Micah Martinez his father Horacio Padilla Jr, His grandfather Ramon Martinez, His grandmothers Theresa Maestas, and Paula Lucero.
Cruz is survived and was a Loving son to Tammy Martinez and a protective brother to Ryan, Nathan Jr, Serenity, Justin Jr., Xavier and Elijah Martinez. Cruz was a caring grandson to Jean Martinez and Horacio Padilla Sr and wife Percilla. He was a precious nephew to Nathan Martinez Sr (Roxanne), Leora Gomez (Terry), Ramon Martinez, Jonathan Martinez (Felisha), Peggy Lovato (Dion) and Amanda Padilla. Cookie (Cruz) was partner in crime to his cousins, Joseph Rue (Steph), Jennifer Rue (Victoria), Asher (V) Gomez, Christopher Gomez and Isaac Martinez, Lina Espinoza, Sam Zamora, Zaniyah, Zais, Zayleigh and Zavion Tenorio and Brandon Padilla.
Cruzito had a special place in his heart for Albert Martinez, Felix and Kristy Calderon, Missy Lesse( his Nina), Merianne Martinez and Justin Martinez Sr, his girlfriend Jasmine Martinez, Rubin Valdez and Samuel Perea . There are SO MANY people that touched the life Cruz and supported him in difficult times.
Cruz loved spending his time cooking, riding horses, fishing and camping. He had just started his first job working at JC's Pizza which he loved and all his coworkers there. He was a student at Robertson High School, he was working hard to graduate.
Funeral services will be given by Manuel Salazar and will be held on Thursday May 18, 2023 at 10:00am at Corner Stone Church in Las Vegas New Mexico. Burial will follow church services in Rociada NM with the following serving as Pallbearers Ryan Martinez, Nathan Martinez, Jacqlyn Romero, Joseph Rue, Jennifer Rue and Asher (V) Gomez.
Honorary pallbearers are Serenity Martinez, Justin Martinez Jr, Xavier Martinez, Elijah Martinez, Christopher Gomez, Logan Rue, Joseph Rue Jr, Rubin Valdez and Samuel Perea.
