Curtis B. Moore, 61, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on April 3, 2022 at 11:20p.m.from a fall in his apartment.

Curtis B. Moore was born to Reuben R. Moore and Nancy Farley Moore on May 1, 1960. He is preceded in death by his father, Reuben R. Moore.

His personality was bigger than life; he was commonly referred to as the mayor of the apartment complex where he lived. He was a loving, caring man who was generous with his big smile and even bigger dimples. Curtis was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan as evidenced by the Broncos tattoo on his arm for everyone to see.

Curtis was a graduate of Robertson High School and earned his bachelor's degree from New Mexico Highlands University.

Curtis B. Moore is survived by his mother Nancy Moore (Rudy Vigil) of Montezuma, NM, brother Russell Moore (Veronica) of Socorro, NM, brother Jay Moore of Las Vegas, NM, brother Rodney Moore of Ft. Collins, CO, son Jeremy Gurule of California, nephew Jason Moore (Samantha) of Albuquerque, NM, niece Ashley Moore (Tina) of Tucson, AZ, nephew Sean Moore of Ruidoso, NM, niece Danelle Moore (Justin) of Socorro, NM, aunt Janet Barella,of Milton WA, great great uncle Rudy Martinez (Regina) of Albuquerque, NM, numerous cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Rosary services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 1:00pm at Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral Mass to follow immediately after with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.

Interment will be announced at a later date with Jason Moore, Ashley Moore, Pat Garcia, Dillon Moore, Jose M. Pereira and John Moore serving as pallbearers.
