Daniel R. Gutierrez, Jr. was born in Las Vegas on May 10, 1960, to
the late Daniel R. Gutierrez and Olivia Gutierrez. He passed away on
March 29, 2011.
He was a West Las Vegas High School graduate. He was previously
employed at Applebees in Albuquerque, where he resided.
He was preceded in death by his father Daniel R. Gutierrez; maternal grandmother Aurora Loera; maternal grandfather Gregorio Loera; aunt: Rita Romero; nephew David Roybal; uncle Bobby Loera; paternal
grandmother Isabel Gutierrez; uncle Isidoro Gutierrez and uncle
Alfred Gutierrez.
He is survived by his mother, Olivia Gutierrez, sisters — Dianne
Ortega and husband Jimmy, Carrie Garcia and husband Justin, Naomi
Lucero and husband Joe D. Lucero; brothers — John Gutierrez and wife
Helen, Marty Gutierrez and wife Wanda,; special nieces — Brandy
Lucero, Kristen Lucero, Brittney Gutierrez, Nicole Gutierrez,
Alexandria Ortega, Vanessa Troncoso and Berna Lemos; special aunt
Frances Loera. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews,
uncles and aunts.
Rosary services were conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 at
Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 9
a.m. on Friday, April 1 at Immaculate Conception Church with Father
George Salazar as celebrant. Internment will follow at San Jose
Cemetery.
