Daniel Arredondo Hernández, 77 of Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away surrounded by family at his home on November 6, 2025. He was born August 30, 1948 to Jesus and Gonzala Hernández in Pleasanton, TX. He was the first born of triplet boys and was the 12th of 16 siblings.

He grew up as a migrant farm worker, mostly picking cotton, and achieved a 6th grade formal education. He and his brothers were recruited as the first set of triplets to enter the US Job Corp. It was there that he met his beautiful bride, Theresa. After marrying in Las Vegas, NM in 1968, they moved to Denver, CO where they lived for 50 years where he worked as a mechanic and a baker. He was a "Keblero" at the Keebler cookie factory for over 30 years. After retirement, he moved back to Las Vegas, NM where he enjoyed fishing, fixing things, and slot machines.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Theresa Hernández, son Daniel Steven (Annette) of Las Vegas, daughter Dr. Charlene Hernández (Dr. Joseph A. Milan) of Erie, CO, daughter Graciela Calderon (Adam) of Las Vegas, 20 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Jesus Hernández (Lubbock, TX), Ynez Hernández (Pleasanton, TX), Manuela Rodríguez (Poteet, TX), Donald Hernández (Victoria, TX), David Hernández (Victoria, TX), Diana Areola (San Antonio, TX), Louis Hernández (Commerce City, CO), and Joe Hernández (Poteet, TX).

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Gonzala Hernández, and siblings Carmen García, Genaro Hernández, Angelita Coronado, Ramon Hernández, Evangelina Rodríguez, Alejandro Hernández, and Graciela Hernández.

A Rosary will be recited at Immaculate Conception in Las Vegas, NM, on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 9:00am at Immaculate Conception in Las Vegas, NM as well. Interment to follow at 10:00 am at San Antonio Cemetery. Pallbearers are Amanda Hernández, Elizabeth Hernández, Adam Calderón, Marcus Milán, Jacob Calderón, Nakai Milán, Mina Calderón, and Maya Milán. Honorary pallbearers are Kara Hernández, Brianna Hernández, Marissa Hernández, Alexandra Abeyta, Timeka Rodríguez, Stacy Rodríguez, Nathaniel Rodriguez, Cassandra Lopez, Cassandra Sánchez, Allena Gómez, and Andrea Gómez.
