Daniel Quintana, age 67, a lifelong resident and rancher from Dahlia, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, November 8, 2024. Daniel enjoyed living at the ranch where he raised cattle. He also cared for his mother Helena Quintana for many years.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Placido Quintana, Jr. and two brothers; David Quintana and Madgaleno Quintana; a nephew, Leroy Quintana and a niece, Nicole Lucero.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Helena B. Quintana of Dahlia, NM and six siblings; Orlando Quintana of Albuquerque, NM, Leroy Quintana of Santa Rosa, NM, Virginia Quintana of Las Vegas, NM, Lisa Lucero of Tecolotito, NM, Cecilia Quintana of Santa Rosa, NM, and Mary Helen Chavez of Albuquerque, NM.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at St. Joseph's Church in Anton Chico, NM beginning at 10:00 am with a Rosary followed immediately by a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow at Santo Niño Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers; Junior Lucero, Adolfo Bachicha, Elliott Bachicha, Dominic Lerma, Felipe Chavez, and Magic Dimas. Honorary Pallbearer, Adam Quintana.
