Daniel (Danny) Tafoya, 56, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at his home on November 17, 2022, following an extended illness. He was born on May 31, 1966, to the late Joe and Marian Tafoya. Danny worked as a plumber with his father's family business and later with his brother, Raymond. He loved spending time with his family and friends and welcomed all into his home. Danny enjoyed his daily walks through Bridge Street visiting neighbors and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Marian Tafoya, brothers: Bobby Tafoya and Richard (Tiger) Tafoya, and nephews: Abraham Tafoya, Charlie Tapia and Carlos Tafoya.

He is survived by his siblings: Jose Tafoya of Tennessee, Donna Tafoya, Placido Tafoya, Raymond Tafoya and wife Corinna, Johnny Tafoya and wife Beatrice, Lawrence Tafoya and wife Breena, Theresita Tafoya of Colorado, and his twin sister Marian Tafoya and husband Charles Tapia, and numerous "best" nieces and nephews.

Rosary service will be recited on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 6 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 9 a.m. Both services will be at Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Interment will take place at a later date. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Raymond Tafoya Jr., Jesus Tafoya, Oliver Tafoya, Martin Tapia, Marcus Tapia, JD Flores, Dominic Marquez and Alisandro Baca. Honorary bearers will be Christopher Flores and Francisco (Cisco) Saiz.
