David Anthony Marquez, 71, passed away the morning of March 21,2024 peacefully at his home in Sapello, New Mexico. He was born January 16, 1953, in Las Vegas to his parents Arturo Marquez and Helen Baca.

David had a fun, loving personality, always joking around with friends and family. David was a lineman for the Public Service Company of New Mexico where he put in numerous years of service and eventually retired. David's biggest passion was his ranch in Los Hueros, where he spent the majority of his time raising cattle, fixing fence, and enjoying the outdoors. David was a beloved husband, sibling, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his spouse Katherine Valdez-Marquez, his children; Alicia Marquez, Andrew Marquez, Samuel Marquez, and grandchildren; Gabriel Marquez, Alex Marquez, Kenyatta Robinson, and Keyon Robinson.

A Rosary will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 5:00pm at Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 9:00am also at Immaculate Conception Church.

David will be cremated and buried in Los Hueros at a later date.
