We celebrate the life of Debra Roybal, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico in 1961.  She left this world on April 24, 2023 to be with the Lord.  Debra was a devoted child of God.  She was the most wonderful sister and auntie to all of her nieces and nephews; the best confidant and secret keeper.  To know Debra was to share in all of the fruits of the spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.  One need not ask if she knew the Lord.  Debra was loved beyond measure by her family and will be missed more than can be expressed.  Debra was a quiet warrior and won her fight against cancer overcoming insurmountable odds, a survivor.

Debra resides in heavenly repose with her parents Pete and Melva Roybal.  She is survived by her brothers Dale Roybal, his wife Laurel, Dewey Roybal, and Duane Roybal and his wife Josie, sister in law Fabby Roybal Most loved Auntie Baba to Naomi Martinez, Brant Roybal, Auritha Roybal and fiancé Debra Mares, Isiah Roybal, Ezra Roybal and Emile Arguello , Brandi Little, Angela Nation, Aeryn Bowie, Jaden Bowie, Derek Roybal, Jasmine Roybal, Betty Ann Gomez and Ava Roybal, Dear friends Marge and Johnny Sanchez.

Rosary followed by the eulogy will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 6:00pm at Our Lady of Sorrows church.  Mass and funeral services will begin at 9:00 am on Monday, May 8, 2023 also at Our Lady of Sorrows church. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving Pallbearers will be Naomi Martinez, Brant Roybal, Auritha Roybal, Ezra Roybal, Jaden Bowie, and Derek Roybal.
