Delores Torres (Dodie), age 82, passed away on April 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family in Rio Rancho, NM following a long battle with cancer. She was born on April 14, 1940 in Trinidad, CO to Jennie Roybal.

She was a caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved her children, her siblings and she especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a passion for the game of golf and she was a fan of the Denver Broncos and the UNM Lobo's Men's Basketball team. Dodie also enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren play various sports. She had a heart of gold for all of her animals and she donated to the ASPCA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie, stepfather, Benny and her husband, Gene.

She survived by her children: Michele, Janeen (Anthony), Trisha (Ramon) and Geno (Vicki). Siblings; Bobbie Jo (Matthew), Teddie (Steve) and Carlos (Lucy). Grandchildren; Michael John (Sarita), Jonathan (Donna), Anthony Jr. (Clarissa), Jaleisha (Joshua), Travis, Dion, Keanu, Reyna, Tristen, EmmaRaye, Trae and Alyssa. Great grandchildren; Miclo, Eleazar, Anthony III, Saul, Amor, Elena, Jocelyn, Amor, Sarai, Tiara, Jonathan Jr, Jaida and Joshua II. Nephews; Manny (Kate), Cody and Luke. Great nephews; Christian and Jacob.

Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 9:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church with reception to follow at the American Legion. Burial will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 9:30 am at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
