Desiree Ann (Dezz) Apodaca, 21, went to rest in eternal paradise on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023.

She was born in Las Vegas, NM to Belanna Apodaca of San Jose, NM on February 19, 2002.

She earned her degree in Cosmetology at Luna Community College, but her greatest accomplishment was her precious baby girl Haylie J. Esquibel.

Her passion for outdoors, music and food was known by all.

She had an infectious smile and sense of humor, and touched the hearts of everyone that met her.

Desiree is preceded in death by her little bro Jeramiah Valencia.

Desiree is survived by her mother Belanna Apodaca, her daughter Haylie Esquibel, partner David Grinage, brothers Kevin Pacheco, Jaydn Tapia, sister Aysa Vigil (Andres), grandparents Joe and Lucy Apodaca, Godparents Joe and Tanya Rivera, Godsisters/brother, uncles, aunts, many cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted Monday, April 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heart of David Church on Peggy Lee lane with Pastor James Vaughn as officiant  Serving as Urnbearers will be Joe Apodaca, Kevin Pacheco and Jaydn Tapia. Honorary Urnbearers are Mikael Vigil, Joe Louis Rivera, Antonio Grinage, Josiah Rubio, Andre Ulibarria, Jose (Horse) Apodaca, Danny Jo Apodaca, Tony Jose Apodaca, Moses Esquibel and Joe Louis Rivera Sr. and Matias Dominguez.
