Diane Marquez, 76, a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on March 15, 2024, at her home with her love by her side.

Diane retired from the Las Vegas Medical Center after 27 years and was also employed by Rogers Mortuary. She loved to spend time with her family, she loved going on adventures with George, and she loved all of her fur-babies and feathered friends.

Diane was born on February 6, 1948 to Benny Gurule and Lelia Trujillo-Montoya.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Benny Gurule and Lelia Trujillo-Montoya.  Her Step-Father: Tony Montoya Sibling: Patricia Montoya-Baca.

She is survived by her spouse, George Flores.  Her Step-children Monica, Sarah, Diego, Greg, and her Step-grandchildren.  Siblings: Benny Gurule and Regina Montoya.  Nephew Anthony Montoya (Marian) Great-Nephews: Zakk and Dylan (Bri) Great Niece: Natasha (Asher) Great-Great Nephews Dylan Rey and Kellin Sorin Gage Great-Great Nieces: Kinsley Delilah Moon and Ayla Jo and; many more friends and loved ones.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 7:00 pm, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 9:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas NM with the following serving as Pallbearers; Anthony Montoya, Asher Gomez, Zakk Montoya, Natasha Roybal, Isaiah Flores, Michael Flores, Eric Vuell, and Juan Rubio. Cremation will take place after services and burial of cremains will take place at a later date.

The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to those who went to see and assist Diane while she was ill.  Also, special thanks to Amber Care for the amazing service and care that they provided.

Diane will be missed by all who loved her.
