Diane G.
Trujillo Vigil
August 26, 1958 – March 14, 2024
Diane G Trujillo Vigil passed away peacefully at her home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on March 14, 2024. She was born in Las Vegas, NM on August 26, 1958, to the late Peggy M Hoogerhuis. Diane was a 1976 graduate of Robertson High School and was a letterman in Cheerleading and Tennis.
Her greatest pride in life was her three kids: Carl, Curtis, and Kimberly. She made sure to be there for all their games and performances. Diane was the greatest cheerleader on and off the court.
Her greatest joy in life came when she was made a Nana. Just like her kids, she made every effort to be at her grandkids' events in Las Vegas, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and she traveled to different states to watch them excel in sports. Nana Diane could always be counted on to bring homemade cupcakes and a homemade sign for each of their birthdays. Even her grandkids' friends knew her as their Nana, too.
Diane raised her family with the greatest love and affection. She fought her battle with cancer with such courage. She will always be remembered for her kindness, her laughter and smile with that signature dimple.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Peggy Hoogerhuis. Grandparents: Juanita and Rodolfo Trujillo. Brother: Ron Hoogerhuis Aunt: Emma Christianson Uncles: Albert Trujillo and Pete Christianson Cousins: Edith Gallegos, Rick Christianson, and Bonnie Trujillo.
