Dominic Baca, age, 30 a longtime resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 in Santa Fe, NM.

He was born on August 30, 1991 to Robert Chavez and Mary Frances Baca in Las Vegas, NM.

Dominic was a wonderful man, he had a heart of gold, he was so very generous and such a loving person, he was always willing to help others. Dominic was a clown and ready to make anyone laugh; He had a smile that would light up a room, He was a great father to his children, he showed them unconditional love, he was great with kids. He was a jack of all trades, he loved to fix and build things. He loved working with concrete and solar panels, he was an excellent worker, if he was given a job he would go above and beyond to make sure he did his job perfectly. Dominic's dream, since a very young age was to become an engineer, Dominic loved music it was his "escape", as he called it. Dominic loved his family, he had the weight of the world on his shoulders but he still managed to put a smile on his loved ones faces. Dominic will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. He is now reunited with his mother and can finally rest...

He is preceded in death by his mother: Mary Frances Baca; maternal grandfather: Gomicindo Baca; paternal grandfather: Bobby Chavez; paternal grandmother: Gloria Gonzales- Westbrook; uncle: Juan Gallegos; cousins: Michael Baca and Crystal Baca.

Dominic is survived by his wife: Jamie Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM; children: Genesis, Ares, Zayden and Zianna; father: Robert Chavez of Pecos, NM; maternal grandmother: Lucy Baca of Las Vegas, NM; sisters: Amanda Baca (Jesus) of Las Vegas, NM, Alysha Mares of Las Vegas, Nevada, Larissa Chavez of Pecos, NM and Santana Chavez of Santa Fe, NM; special cousins: Dillon Baca, Andrew Martinez, Amber Trujillo and Megan Baca; nephews: Alejandro and Thiago; niece: Maelynn; numerous: aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

Rosary service will be recited on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 7:00pm, funeral mass will be conducted on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 9:00am with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant both services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Baca, Andrew Martinez, Alejandro Lovato, Dustin Baca, George Baca, Quirino Baca, Jacob Gurule and Gary Chavez.

Burial will be at a later date.
