It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Dominic Onesimo Branch, age 33, of Mora, NM, on March 6, 2025. Dominic was born on December 20, 1991, to Nick Branch and Clarabelle Fernandez Branch in Las Vegas, NM.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, and friend. Dominic was a kind soul who touched the hearts of many people; he was always friendly to everyone he met. His kind-hearted nature drove him to help others, and he brought happiness and light into every room he entered. Dominic cherished his family and friends dearly, and his pride and joy were his nieces and nephew. He loved spending time with them and would do anything for them. Additionally, he had a deep affection for his dog, Morty.

Some of Dominic's hobbies included golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was adventurous and loved to joke and laugh, always striving to put a smile on your face. Anytime anyone needed him, he was there to help; he would give the shirt off his back for his loved ones. Dominic will be missed by everyone who knew him and will never be forgotten.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Clarabelle Fernandez Branch; his maternal grandfather, Edward Fernandez; his paternal grandmother, Delia Smith; his paternal grandfather, Frank Branch; and his uncle, Gary Reierson.

Dominic is survived by his father, Nick Branch of Cleveland, NM; his sister, Stephanie Casados (Jason) of Mora, NM; his brothers, Nicky Branch (Sandra) of Las Cruces, NM; Javier Branch of Cleveland, NM; and Julio Leyba of Cleveland, NM. He is also survived by his grandmother, Shirley Fernandez of Cleveland, NM; his great-great-grandmother, Annie Vigil of Mora, NM; his great-great-grandmother, Nora Lopez of Las Vegas NM; uncles Jeff Fernandez (Sarah) of Las Vegas, NM; Edward Fernandez (Rosalee) of Ledoux, NM; Frank Branch (Cindy) of Las Vegas, NM; and Paul Duran (Jessica) of Mora, NM. He leaves behind his nephew, Jayson Casados of Mora, NM; his nieces, Nevaeh Branch of Cleveland, NM; Kelsey Branch of Cleveland, NM; Jesselle Branch of Las Cruces, NM; and Danielle Casados of Mora, NM; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rosary will be recited on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 7:30pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday. March 17, 2025 at 10:00am with both services to be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora, NM with Father Paul Grala S.O.L.T. as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Cleveland, NM with the following serving as pallbearers will be Javier Branch, Jason Casados, Edward Fernandez Jr., Jeffrey Fernandez Jr., Frank Branch Jr., and Alex Branch. Honorary pallbearers will be Jayson Casados and Julio Leyba.
