Douglas Jeffrey, 53, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly at his father's home on January 17, 2023.He was born on June 24th, 1969, to David and Ollie Jeffrey. In March of1987, Doug welcomed his pride and joy, Tommy, into his life. After graduating from Robertson High School, he attended NMSU and NMHU, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. He then joined his family's businesses a journeyman plumber. Doug loved spending time with his family and friends, especially at the family ranch. He always enjoyed life to the fullest. Doug was a loving dad, pampo, son, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed. Dougis preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Jeffrey; maternal grandparents Homer and Mary C. Jones; paternal grandparents Loyd and Ethel Marie Jeffrey.

He is survived by his son, Tommy, and fiancé Janaya; grandchildren: Avery, Emery, Emberly and Tommy Jr.; father, Dave Sr.; siblings: Sharon (Jessie), DaveJr. and  Loyd (Monique); nieces and nephews: Amerette, Kelvin, Kevin (Mari),Racquel(Danny),Dezaree,Aleah, Daniel, Christopher(Cierra)and Elena; and numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.

There will be a public viewing on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Roger's Mortuary from 3 to 5 p.m. Rosary and memorial service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Roger's Mortuary. Interment will take place at 2 p.m.at the family ranch in Monte Aplanado. The following will serve as pallbearers: Kelvin Jeffrey, Kevin Jeffrey, William Jeffrey, Aaron Archuleta, Kevin Archuleta, and Damian Atencio. Honorary pallbearer will be Curtis Jeffrey.
