Duane Dunlap

Duane Kenneth Dunlap died peacefully May 6 after a brief hospitalization due to a fall. He was a loved member of the Alcon family. He is preceded in death by his precious mother Senaida Alcon Vigil and James Dunlap.

He was an honorable Army veteran and retired from the Air Force Academy where he was the Electronics Manager for 20 years.

He is survived by his brother Jimmy/Maxine; sister Helen; daughter Lindsey Paige and mother Lorri; cherished nephews Bryan and Nathan and their families, uncles and treasured aunt Joycelyn/Ruben as well as many dear cousins.

Graveside service will be at Ojo Feliz Church of Christ Cemetery at 11:00am on Monday, May 11, 2026 officiated by Pastor Leroy Aragon and meal to follow at the VFW Hall in Mora. Pallbearers are Roger Alcon; Andy Alcon; Bryan Duran; Nathan Duran; Jeff Wilson and Leo Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be his dear cousins.
