Elaine Garza

Elaine Garza, age 80, a resident of Tecolote, New Mexico, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026. She was born on January 2, 1946, in Raton, New Mexico.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Edwardo and Genoveva Gonzales/ Biological parents Albinita and Moses Ortiz

She is survived by her loving spouse, Tomas Garza; her sons: Thomas (Cindy), Jerome (Bev), Irwin (Amanda), and Lucas (Desiree) Garza; and her daughters, Patricia (Jeff) Culin and Victoria (Steve) Martinez. She is also survived by numerous, siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Rosary devotional services will be held on April 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The Funeral Mass will follow, with Father Rob Yaksich and Father Sarfraz Alam as celebrants. Interment will take place at the Garza Family Cemetery in Tecolote with the following serving as casket bearers will be Donovan Garza, Zach Garza, Jesus Garza, Lucas Garza, Nicco Garcia, Alex Garcia, Joshua Vigil, and Isaiah Vigil. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy JR Garza, Samantha Garza, Heather Garza, Tiffany Yannacci, Danell Garza, Justine Garza, Germaine, Garza, Martin Jaramillo, Bella Garza, Jenna Garza, Araya Martinez, Mariah Garza, Ariana Garza, and Amari Garza.
