Obituary

Elijah A. Montaño, gained his angel wings on August 4, 2024 at the young age of 19. He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He was raised in Pecos, New Mexico and graduated from Pecos High School in 2023. He is survived by his loving parents Kristina and Mateo Salazar, his sister Jaylah Salazar.

Elijah was a remarkable soul who touch the lives of everyone he met with his boundless heart and genuine care for others. He cherished the moments spent with family and friends finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was ambitious yet humble, Elijah spoke passionately about his love for diesel mechanics and the excitement he felt during his college experience.

With a smile could light up any room, Elijah was the best big brother, and son one could ever ask for in life. He lived his life with patience, savoring each moment without rushing, and spreading happiness everywhere he went. Elijah often dreamed of the future, envisioning a career working on oil rigs, and had a deep passion and eager to modify standard cars and customize them.
