Eliseo Vigil 83, a resident of Las Vegas NM, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family in Las Vegas NM.

He was born on July 18, 1940 to Eliseo Vigil and Eutimia Sandoval Vigil in Ocate NM.

Eliseo loved to play instruments, camping, cooking with family, listening to Spanish music, watching Spanish movies, gardening, he loved to work on cars as a mechanic and spending time with family and grandchildren. He loved having get together with his family for holidays. He loved making Jokes, Funny Faces Laughing. Also loved spending time with his animals/ fish

And was a Faithful Devoted Catholic a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Ocate, NM. He loved to teach his grandchildren about saints and to pray.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eliseo Vigil and  Eutmia Vigil, Sister's  Julia Vigil ; Sofia Salazar(Jose Salazar); Mary Pacheco(Florentino Pacheco) Brother Juanito Vigil. Eloy Mares (Rosie Mares)

He is Survived by his loving wife Martha Vigil of Las Vegas NM, Sons Bernie Mares; Eliseo Vigil jr(Roseana).;Anthony Vigil Daughters, Sharon Vigil (Isaac); Annabelle Vigil; Sandy Vigil(John) Grandchildren,10 great grandchildren,9 All of Las Vegas NM, Numerous Friends, and Family Sister; Elsie Romero of Cheyenne WY;

Rosary service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 7:00p.m at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas NM

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at 9:00a.m at Immaculate Conception church with Father Dennis Garcia as celebrant.

Burial will take place at Saint Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas NM with the following serving as pallbearers will be Matthew, Miriam, James, Rascon, Tray, Randy, Sarah Lopez,   Rosalie, Antonio, Esperanza and Leroy Vigil, and great grandchildren.
