Our precious mother Elizabeth Sarah Ashe, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called to her eternal home on March 16, 2022. She was born on February 19 ^th , 1939, in Las Vegas NM.  She lived most of her life in Albuquerque and Buena Vista NM. She is survived by her daughter Estella Rummelein and her children,Tina Bryant,Heather Wiegner, Jason Montoya and Charles Rummelein III. Her son Adrain Ashe. Her son Emil Ashe Jr and his wife Lori, their children, Logan and Chloe Ashe. Her son John Ashe and his children,Nicole and Noelle Ashe, Abrianna Torres, Avery Chavez, and Zane Ashe. Her son William Ashe and his wife Sari Ashe and their children, Ian Ashe and Lauren Ashe. Her son Nick Ashe and his wife Loretta, their children, Michael and Jacob Ashe and Vicky Chavez. Fifteen grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her sister Martha Dilger and Teresa Gonzales and her brother Joseph Threadgill.  She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Emilio Ashe and her sister Rose Herrera. Her Brothers Tony and Willie Threadgill.Liz was a devout catholic who sang in the choir and made rosaries for the church. She was a great cook who would make her mother in laws fantastic tamale recipe every holiday season. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.

A rosary and funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Tuesday March 29 ^th at 9:30 am at St Gertrude church in Mora NM.  Burial will be at the La Cueva cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Emilio. There will be a gathering at the VFW in Mora to follow.

Pallbearers will be Charles Rummelein, Simon Ashe, Logan Ashe, Ian Ashe, Zane Ashe, Michael Ashe.
