Elmer Lee Sanchez was born on November 15 1961in Springer NM.

He passed away on August 22nd 2024 in Bernal NM.

He was the youngest of eight Siblings. He was preceded in death by dad David and mom Maria Ana Sanchez, Sister Rose Velasquez and Brother Joseph Sanchez (Mary Jo).

He was survived by beautiful wife Berna, Sisters, Theresa LeDoux, Martha Lindsey (Ronnie Lindsay), David Sanchez Jr (Cecelia), Guillermo Sanchez (Agatha), Ed Sanchez (Sandy) and brother-in-law Bill Velasquez. He also had 5 children of his own. Felicia Aragon, Angela Martinez, Rebecca Sanchez, Elmer Sanchez Jr and Seledon Sanchez. He had fourteen grandchildren and one great grandson. His kids and grandkids were his everything. He was also a pet lover. His little Lucy will be lost without him.

Cremation has taken place and rosary service will be recited on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:00am funeral mass will follow both services will be held at Sister Hildegarde Parish Hall in Cimarron, NM. Burial of cremains will follow at Mountain View Cimarron Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
