Enriqueta Martinez, age 90, a longtime resident of Buena Vista, New Mexico, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025.
She was born on June 29, 1934, in Las Manuelitas, New Mexico, to the late Carlos Martinez and Barbarita Trujillo.
She was a family homemaker. She loved quilt making, fishing, and flower gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Barbarita Martinez; brothers, William Martinez, Eufelio Martinez, and Toribio Martinez. Sister, Conferina Sena. Sister-in-law: Lucia Martinez and Valeria Martinez, brother-in-law Claudio Sena.
She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Radasa, and husband, Michael Radasa, of Buena Vista, NM. Granddaughters: Olivia, Urilla, Emilia, and Anella. Sister Maria Paublita Rees of Santa Fe, NM; Goddaughters Angela Romero of Albuquerque, Sofie Encinas of Canoncito, and Brenda Sena of Las Vegas. Brother-in-laws Paul Brizal, Emilio Brizal, and wife Josephine of La Cueva, NM; Sister-in-laws Margaret Maldonado, and Ida Bellville of Walsenburg, CO. numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rosary devotional services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. at Lady of Sorrows Church in Old Town, Las Vegas, NM, with Father Jacob Romero as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Sapello, NM, with the following serving as casket bearers: Manuel Sena, Angelico Chavez, Robert Sena, Roy Montoya, Gary Ortiz, Michael Radasa, Dennis Gouin and George Leger. Honorary Pallbearers: All other nieces and nephews.
