Eric Gilbert Baca, 54, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Eric was born in Belen, NM and a long-time resident of Las Vegas, NM. Eric is preceded in death by his father Gilbert Baca, brother-in-law Antonio Chavez, and good friend Leonard Garcia. He is survived by his three children Nathan (Brigette), Estevan (Jessica), Erika and their mother Georgia Baca, his mother Maryann Y. Baca, siblings Kevin (Valentina), Bob, Shawn, and Katrina (Guido), his beautiful grandchildren Marquis, Emily, Emilio, Angelique, Elena, Raylynn, and Elivia, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Eric was a loving "pampo" to his seven grandchildren. He knew all their favorite snacks to keep in stock, especially Eggo waffles. Eric loved four-wheeling, spending time on the lake, listening to music, and cheering on his children and grandchildren in various sports. He loved his dog Lobo and always brought him along for car rides. Eric was known for his hard work, dedication to building his business, willingness to help those he loved, and his sense of humor.

Cremation has taken place and Rosary services will be conducted on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 6:00pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Funeral mass will be held on February 21, 2023 at 9:00 am with burial following at the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
