Eric Ray Garcia "Tin Man", 56, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Las Vegas, passed away on February 25th.

Eric was born on Oct. 11th, 1965 to Leo and Mary Garcia. He graduated from West Las Vegas High School in 1983.

He went on to work various jobs and was considered a "jack of all trades". Whatever task he was faced with he wholeheartedly and eagerly accepted. Hard working is an understatement. Eric was a beloved father who would do anything for his daughters. He was also a man of God and proudly devoted himself to our Lord and Savior. He always kept his Bible near. He enjoyed his morning walks at the Sandia Foothills as well as calling his family to simply hear about their day. He was a giving and loving father, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary Garcia, brothers Leo "Smokey" Garcia and Ernest Garcia, and very special niece Mariah Arguello.

He leaves in mourning his three daughters, Joslynn Romero, Erica Garcia, and Sabrina Garcia. His former wife, Sara Garcia, sisters Sandra Marquez (Danny), Christine Arguello, and Bernice Garcia. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Rosary service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 9:00am with both services held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father Rob Yaksich as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
